Any real RC fan supports Traxxas here today gone tomorrow trendy RC temporary people just know to hate trx and not much else they'll be gone soon they all talk a of bunch of shit and spend a bunch of money they move other hobbies to wreck

Just did my first real bash with this thing stock, 3 packs nothing broke only esc came off, what double sided tape do you recommend?

Without the body it really looks like some part of the T700 terminator. What is the tape you used to reinforce the body?

These esc and motor works great. I've had the motor 1st , seeing that it worked great with no problems or getting too hot i got the 160amp esc and the 80amp. I just ordered a 110amp one to put in my rustler.

Personally I think ARRMA is taking a page out of the traxxas playbook and price gouging early customers. Traxxas did it with the drag slash, raptor R, sledge and probably more. The profit margins on these suckers has to be high. I think they’ll all be under $120 once a brushless version comes out and the brushless version might start at $200 and trickle down to like $180

These things are the only reasons I'm hesitating to buy a Traxxas nitro. Huge turn-off 🤢 but honestly, I haven't been looking up the lawsuits very well. But I doubt there is anything positive about them.

What's funny is that I'm just getting into the hobby. Haven't even bought my first car yet, doing my research. One thing that is consistent in my research is that regardless of the quality of their cars, Traxxas will not be seeing any of my money. Too many stories like this.

Its gotta be the landrover 110, ide run it on my show , as we cant get these in the uk for a while ,fms wont ship to the uk and our distributer cml are very slow , please please please

Range Rover for me! Basically because I have already 5-6 scx24, two TRX4m, 3 FCX24, and I need this new FCX24m to complete my collection! Also my dad had a Range Rover back in the 90s, he passed recently so I'd have a tribute car in that sense.

I can see way people are starting to dislike the over priced company not like they should worry a bout money where there selling you there trucks from any where between £600 to a £1000 bucks for one of there over priced toys no mention of names there 😂😂😂

That suspension lawsuit is garbage. Traxxas wasn't the first in RC with that suspension setup. Schumacher had pushrod laydown front shocks on the Top Cat and Tenth technology also had a similar setup on the Predator long before the Revo came out.

I’ve liked Traxxas cars, but not their policies much. First they only offer 90 warranty on cars conpared to other companies with 2 year warranty. And the more recent lawsuit with other aftermarket companies for their TRX4M and TRX4 websites. I love their cars, but not the policies

Can just the xrt chassis be swapped to the x maxx? Will it bolt to and line up with the x maxx bulkheads and shock towers? Like a LCG X Maxx if that makes any sense… 🤔

Should have brought up the Schumacher Top Cat. 2wd buggy from the 80's with cantilever suspension. How that wasn't successfully argued as prior art to nullify the patent, I have no clue...

I got into 1/24 scale crawlers about a year ago and started with an axial JLU wrangler and an RGT truck. I love the classic look of the Range Rover and would love to test it out on some of the rock features I’ve built for me and my kids.

new hobby to me and my Son,,, I will never support a company with dubious business practices, I won't buy Traxxas and there a few other products I won't buy such as Redbull. For me there are always companies more deserving of your money. I am happy with our team Corally Cars, also we have a Big Rock and a few cheaper Chinese brand cars. For me Team Corally seem to be the best company right now, Arrma not far behind but its hard to beat the quality, price and performance of Corally.

The Defender style Land Rover is too cool, I'd get one just for the look. I enjoyed watching the actual Camel challenge races.

A huge chunk of the patents Traxxas owns are designs that have been in use for a very long time already or are extremely generalized; they shouldnt have gotten them in the first place. Pushrod suspension, central steering arms, or o-rings to seal boxes are age old inventions. Traxxas goal isnt to protect themselves, but to shoot down any possible competition; this behaviour even has a name: "patent trolling". They dont even expect to win in court, often the goal is just to destroy the competition with years of cease and desist orders. The problem is that they somehow even get these patents registered. Funnily enough these types of patents arent even recognized by the EU in some cases. For an example: Asetek was the sole producer of all in one watercooling devices for a long time, due to a patent on putting the pump and cooler plate in the same housing. When a European manufacturer stepped in they tried to sue them. The European court simply said: thats such a generalized patent that we wont recognize it.

I still have not much respect for traxxas they think they are the king of rc companies lol i laugh at that they went after hbo for the word max and cantilever suspension they did not invent that not and they aren’t the fastest name in rc idc what anyone says makes me laugh until they stop being button happy i probably will never i really don’t like them

a year later, what would you recommend upgrading on one of these to make it more bash proof?

When I first got into rc I was OBSESSED with Traxxas a name brand, simply because their vehicles looked to be so much more advanced than any other company that I had bought from previously. But after trying 1 or 2 of their vehicles, and also trying out a Losi, Team Associated, Arrma, and Axial, I realized that Traxxas wasn't any more bang for the buck than the others in terms of features and durability to price ratio. Imo Traxxas is way overpriced for what they give you. And after the latest lawsuits, I've grown really disenchanted with them.

After watching this i hate traxxas more than ever,just think where rc cars could be now if it wasn't for patenting bullshit 😢😢

These were all the reasons we stopped buying Traxxas. My wife has a mint condition Nero, I keep trying to get it off her and it's not happening lol. I offered her my hopped up Xmaxx and she said no lol. I went back to buying Kyosho, Associated and waiting for re-release versions of Losi cars and trucks lol

I love Traxxas products, but I really hate their history of excessive lawsuits. I got into the hobby back in 2019....years after the Arrma Fazon came out. I saw a video of the Fazon on RUclips and went to my local hobbytown to try and see if it can be ordered....sad day for me when the guys told me Traxxas made sure no one can buy that car brand new at any hobby store.
